It’s time for another monthly round up of shows that you can book over the coming months to witness live magic. A summary of just some of the shows that I have been made aware of that are either performing one off shows or touring theatres throughout the UK. Each month I update this list with all the shows that I am aware of and this post has been specially updated for October 2024.
September was a very busy month show wise. Firstly, we had the IBM Convention in Llandudno which was amazing. The Gala show included Ada Campe, Olivier Henning, Taylor & Rebecca, Mark James, Max Fulham and Aaron Crow. A special experience to see all these performers live in the Welsh seaside town. The very same weekend also saw the opportunity to watch the hilarious John Archer perform a full set and a couple of competitions that included Danny Lee Grew.
Mid month, I then saw "West End Magic" with Wayne Trice, Oliver Tabor, Vicky Butterfly and Chris Wilder. Then separately, "Soldiers of Illusions" with Matricks, Richard Jones and Marc Oberon.

October is looking quiet on the magic front for me personally, though a lot is still available to book. My highlight for the month is booking to see the Hudson & Hudson show advertised for mid-October in Northampton.

The Leicester Magic Circle - 100th Anniversary

Matricks Illusion - Reimagined
If you love big illusions and stage magic, this is the show to see with Alex Jesson and his Matricks Illusions team. Famed for BGT and constant touring and shows. Read my recent review watching Matricks perform here.
Penn & Teller - 50 Years Of Magic
An amazing act that you must see live if you are into magic. I saw the last UK show in 2023 and I can recommend. I will definitely be getting tickets to this one which are already on sales for September 2025 at the London Palladium.
High Jinx
2024 live dates now announced. The dates advertised are a mix of High Jinx and Michael Jordan's solo tour - Magic & Marvels. I have seen High Jinx a couple of times and highly recommend. Especially if you like stage magic.
Danny Lee Grew
An amazing performer who I was lucky to see win the stage magic competition at this years 2024 IBM Convention. Lots of dates are advertised which include Colchester and many other performances.
South Tyneside International Magic Festival - Family Magic Extravaganza
A magic festival/convention that includes a family magic show. The convention also looks amazing for magician's and I note DMC is listed for the magicians events.
Four Magicians
The four magicians have more shows announced. Their linktree has latest shows and info available by clicking the promo pick. We also have a review of their show on this site thanks to guest reviewer Nicholas Maulet here. An October and November is advertised at time of writing with more to be announced.
West End Magic Tour
West End Magic has been running for 11 years. Now a touring show visiting all areas of the UK as well as their West End Show. I saw the show at Coventry, and it was amazing. Features Wayne Trice, Vicky Butterfly and Oliver Tabor. Review here.

The Chester Guild of Magicians are presenting their show on the 16th of November. Click the promo to book.
Asi Wind - Incredibly Human
Now this must be a special show in London's West End. Performing now until early next year. (5th January currently last date)
Hudson & Hudson
I am so looking forward to seeing Hudson & Hudson perform. I interviewed Alan about 4 years ago and have been wanting to see them perform live for ages. Both very talented. Links below for two October dates.

Rhythm & Ruse
They have announced a show with a full cast of magicians. Includes Stephen Barry and Ava Beaux. Tickets currently available until the 5th of January.

"The Magic Hour" and "Magic At The Temple" with Tony Middleton
Residency in London. Hopefully I will get to this show at some point. Would be amazing. "The Magic hour" has been running for 10+ years. "Magic at the Temple" was new from September 2024.

The Poldark Show
Poldark has just announced all his new hypnosis shows for 2024. The shows generally feature support by magicians. Some shows feature Angus Baskerville.
James Phelan - Dreamer
A brand-new show from James which is now at the Fringe after a successful run at The Magic Circle. Visit the official site for all the currently announced dates.
Crowd Keepers Magic Theatre
An intimate secret room venue in Bath. Featuring resident magician Billy Kidd and guest performers. Check on their social media pages for who is performing.
Magic on the Mersey
With Steve Price. Dates in September, October and November. A recent winner of the "Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice" award.
Jay & Joss
Two excellent stage magic performers. Loads of tour dates mainly at Butlins venues. They also featured on BGT this year.
Greg Chapman's - The Non-Psychic "Psychic" Show
Lots of tour dates. Some are already sold out and dates through to March.
Cirque Du Magique
Richard Cadell at Wolverhampton currently for October and November. Also featuring Taylor & Rebecca.
X-Treme Magic
See Richard at his best doing dangerous stage magic with Taylor & Rebecca.
Illusion Impossible

Bristol Smoke and Mirrors - Mark Bennett
Mark is the resident magician at Smoke and Mirrors. Check the website for guest artists that are announced.
The Magic Circle
Shows run all year. A variety of shows worth booking and will be in the Magic Circle theatre. They have been very active promoting shows of late, worth monitoring to see a show if you are in London.
Pete Firman - Trik Tok tour
The tour run is now extended with dates until October currently. I can recommend this show. Last dates for this tour are in October.
Tom Brace - A trick down memory lane - and other shows. While no current shows listed, Tom does tour extensively and his site is worth keeping an eye on.
Russ Browns House of Secrets
Lots of regular acts to book to see shows. Ryland Petty performs here a lot and Jasper Cherry. A small intimate venue ideal for magic. Always the best acts and will often have BGT acts.
The Magic Bar - Live (Wales)
A magic bar venue with close-up and theatre acts. Live magic and food.
