My Week In Magic - Update 38

As today is the first birthday of Magic Seats, it seemed appropriate to write a separate post, thanking all readers and contributors who have helped the site achieve its first birthday. Please take a look at that post that was published yesterday.

The week was generally quiet. It started with an online show, viewing the latest Justin Willman show. As the third show that I attended online to see Justin, I did not write a review. I can recommend though and you can find tickets via eventbrite.

You can tell that Justin has been presenting shows via Zoom for the last year now, technically, it is faultless and he now has a special studio area as well.

Collectables wise, my new signed Debbie McGee poster arrived. Number 27 of 40.

I also received a signed Chris Cross poster of Sir Julian Cahn which was a nice surprise.

I also got some business cards made up. Cheap as on offer and it included the design. Will be handy to use to promote the site at future conventions. Someday….

They look really smart, pleased with them.

This week, there was no meet up with the Leicester Magicians Network (LMN) but I have a new online show to look forward too! Angus Baskerville is performing online tonight, really looking forward to this third Zoom show. The LMN also has a pro lecture this week with Daniel Chard.

Purchase wise, I thought I would try my hand at the Merchant of Magic mystery box. I received a book test, playing cards and a few other items.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Martin
