My Week In Magic - Update 45

The week got off to a great start with some interview questions returned from Mark Shortland. Excellent responses and I am looking forward to sharing it on the site very soon. I plan to start working on the article later today.

Hopefully my new Vincenzo Ravina interview will be out for you to read very soon. Just waiting for my editor (my wife Nadine) to read. I will then do a final review and hopefully should be able to post in about a week.

Purchase wise, I bought a new effect, “Word Up“ from Vinny Sagoo at Neo Magic. Really looking forward to it arriving. Great comms from Vinny as usual, who messaged to confirm my order.

My new signed David Blaine cards also arrived on Monday. Very smart and the cards are sealed. My autograph collection is growing nicely.

Mid week, my new signed Penn & Teller hand signed programme also arrived. A4 in size and a nice memento.

Also a new book arrived. “The Old and the New Magic” by Henry Evans. A reprint of a book first published during the Golden Age of Magic. Very nicely published.

On Saturday, we watched the latest AGT episode, Lea Kyle who is a French fast change artist, appeared on the latest episode. Already very well known, her act was superb and she went straight through to the live shows. I knew what to expect but was still blown away. See below if you want to watch.

During the week, I played with the website a little, tweaking the look. Pleased with the revised logo and new graphics. Hope you like it. It is important to keep the site looking fresh.

While I think about it, Peter Antoniou was also on AGT. An amazing performance. Worth a watch if you get a chance.

Show wise, I may be booking to see my first live show in a while. Mandy Muden is performing locally in August. Need to get tickets as really like her.

Next week I have another LMN zoom night to attend. Looking forward to Catching up with the members.

Have a good weekend.

Martin
