I have a number of shows that I have tickets booked to see over the coming months. Some shows are of course rescheduled dates that should have already happened.
Tickets that I have include Derren Brown, Ben Hart, Magical Bones and Lxke Trix for live theatre shows next year.
I am also keeping my eye on a few others shows such such as Mandy Muden and Pete Firman. Would quite like to see them as well.
As an individual who has had to shield, I need to be particular careful with venues but can’t wait until I can see a live performance again. However, recent announcements (09/09/20) and bans on social gatherings over 6 will likely cause issues.
Zoom wise, I have tickets for Magic Singh Piff the Magic Dragon and Justin Willman who all have online zoom shows in September. Should be good and I am looking forward to writing reviews. I find that eventbrite site is good for monitoring possible upcoming online shows.
As well as magicians, I have a lot of other shows planned as well so hopefully will be able to go still. Though I think everything is now rescheduled for 2021.
The biggest Magic event I have booked is of course the Blackpool Magic convention in February. Here is hoping this goes ahead as it will be my first visit to this large convention. But no longer expecting this to happen. Perhaps virtually at best.
I have the Gold three day ticket. Going to go with my family and staying over for a couple of nights in the area. Hotel is booked.
However, I will be going into the convention alone. But expecting to meet and see a lot of people and hopefully will meet new contacts/friends.
For anyone who has been before, is it worth going on the Friday? Any advice in the comments would be appreciated.
Website wise, should provide a lot of photo opportunities for the blog.
