The week started with an opportunity to join a Steve Reynolds lecture on the Sunday evening. A good talk which allows me to view many card effects within the lecture.
An enjoyable session which a few of the other members of The Leicester Magicians Network (LMN) also joined.
Mid week, the LMN had its first club meeting. After a year of virtual meetings, it was going to be a good opportunity to meet face to face. Unfortunately I was unable to attend due to family commitments but looking forward to joining such a meeting soon.
The club did take lots of photos and the new club room is amazing which includes a stage. Read the official LMN blog post to discover more about the first club in person meeting, which includes many photos and a video.
Purchase wise, I was able to pick up a couple of new signed first day covers. A Derren Brown and Danny Buckler signed autograph editions.
Looking forward to receiving these and listing in my collectables section.
I had the chance to catch up with AGT during the week and I have been able to view a couple more of Lea Kyle’s quick change acts. Really impressive - though the quarter final performance is a little short. would love to see her perform live.
Next week the LMN Members Evening is titled ”Hofzinser Ace Problem” which is hosted by club founder Scot Jerram. Hoping to be able to join in person but unable to confirm that I will be able to just yet.
Originally, I was going to attend the Magic Carboot today that I have also had to cancel. Enjoy if you are going. Have a good weekend.
